My Journey

Luke Raphael Grove | Creative Director & Visual Artist

I’ve always been drawn to the unspoken - what lives beneath surfaces, in gestures, in silence. My work lives in that space between disciplines: part filmmaker, part photographer, part storyteller. I direct, I design, I compose - but not within one box. Instead, I chase feeling. I build atmospheres. I tell human stories through light, rhythm, and visual symbolism.

My creative journey began behind the lens, capturing fleeting moments that felt cinematic. That evolved into directing films, developing fashion narratives, and designing editorial worlds where emotion, identity, and aesthetics collide. What I learned is this: it’s never about the medium - it’s about the message. Every project I touch, whether visual or sonic, editorial or immersive, is rooted in the same question: how does this make someone feel?

My style blends minimalism with emotional tension. I love texture. I love quiet chaos. I’m inspired by city grit and coastal calm, philosophy and sound, memory and movement. Collaboration is key to my process - I work with musicians, stylists, dancers, writers, and strangers on the street.

I’m based in Berlin but my work travels. From directing short films to building fashion campaigns to consulting on visual identity, I treat each project as its own cinematic universe - designed with intention, vulnerability, and edge.

This isn’t just a career - it’s a way of existing in the world. Curious. Awake. Committed to making something honest.
